UH's lifestyle and entertainment magazine - by students, for students

It’s that time of the year again, Coogs.

Coogs Choose.

What is Coogs Choose, and what’s the point?

Coogs Choose is a yearly (and occasionally bi-yearly) duel to the death between the best Cougar-serving businesses, orgs and people, all fighting to be named #1 in their category.

Well, not to the death, but dang near close.

Coogs Choose began in 2015 as a fun way to comment on what was cool among the elder Coogs of years past run by our older sister, The (then) Daily Cougar. Fast forward to 2022, and Cooglife Magazine is continuing the tradition by sponsoring the polls, promoting it, and celebrating the winners.

SO HOW DOES IT WORK

Click HERE to vote. You can vote in as many or as few categories as you’d like. You can also vote multiple times, just make sure your name and email address are valid. Coogs take voter fraud very, very seriously.

And please, have fun! There’s a lot of super rad businesses that deserve all the love in the world. I certainly know who I’m voting for. Also, feel free to campaign for the people, orgs, and places you feel deserve to be #1 but aren’t mentioned here. You want the crown of Best Resident Advisor? Better start promoting yourself as if you were running for homecoming. Is your favorite club niche and obscure but passionate beyond belief? Better see you posting about your bid for the crown every single day.

Polls close on October 20. That’s on Thursday.

THURSDAY. You have 7 days to promote yourself, coerce your friends and submit as many votes to make your voice heard. Think of the clout you could gain. Think of how you could leverage such a distinguished honor in a job interview or on a resume. Think of the fame…

Vote NOW though October 20. The future is in your hands.
