Looking for something to do this Halloween? Well, look no further! This Halloween weekend, New Orleans’ City Park is playing host to Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, a three-day, immersive festival with musical performances ranging from Kendrick Lamar to LCD Soundsystem to The Killers.
With Kendrick Lamar riding the wild success of his latest release, “DAMN.” and both The Killers and LCD Soundsystem making epic comebacks with their latest releases, “Wonderful Wonderful” and “American Dream,” respectively, the weekend-long festival is shaping up to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In addition to the headliners, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience’s stacked lineup includes notable artists like NGHTMRE, The Black Angels and Cold War Kids playing throughout the weekend. In total, 70 bands will perform throughout the weekend across four stages.
After 18 years, this being their 19th, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience has perfected the Halloween festival experience. On top of the musical performances, this year’s festival will include large-scale art installations, an interactive haunted house, and local bites from across New Orleans. If all of this, plus the 70 performances, is not enough, the festival has even more to offer. The festival organizers have curated a set of “Deja Voodoo” official after-shows each night of the festival at local venues across New Orleans. This provides festival goers an incredible opportunity to catch missed-sets or even see favorite artists a second time for the weekend.
Tickets are still on sale at all levels, but act fast because prices will increase as the festival approaches. The purchase options include both 3-day and daily GA as well as the more luxurious options of LOA VIP and Platinum tickets. Check here for more information about pricing and payment plans.
