HOUSTON – Broadway hit “Hamilton” is set to arrive at Houston’s Hobby Center on Feb. 22.

The world turned upside down these past few years, one of the reasons being COVID-19. The pandemic wracked the theater world, causing Broadway to close for years in order to prevent the spread.

As more people receive their vaccines and we begin to see a return to semi-normalcy, beloved plays take back to the stage and to tours, much to the delight of theater-goers everywhere.

Hamilton is no exception. Currently, the show is in the middle of its North American tour. They just wrapped up their stay in Fort Worth, meaning their next stop is right here in Houston.

“Hamilton” is a ground-breaking musical that features rap and contemporary sound paired with soaring compositions by Lin-Manuel Miranda. It tells the story of one of the United States’ founding fathers, Alexander Hamilton, taking audiences along as we watch him grow from an orphaned immigrant to a formidable force in the forging of a nation.

“Hamilton” the musical will play at the Hobby Center from Feb. 22 to March 20.
