John Mayer played a solo tour at the Toyota Center in Houston on Monday, Oct. 30. Mayer’s opener, JP Saxe sang an acoustic set to warm up the crowd before Mayer went on near 9 p.m.

Mayer opened his concert with one of his greatest hits “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room.” As soon as he hit the famous opening lick to the song the crowd went wild by screaming and singing along.

He would later go on to play songs from his albums ‘Born and Raised,’ ‘Continuum,’ ‘Room for Squares,’ ‘Sob Rock’ and ‘Battle Studies.’

After what the audience thought was the end of the show, he would come back to the stage to officially close out the concert with his cover of Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin'” which has become a staple in his performances; originally performed in Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles.

John Mayer fans can listen to the concert playlist here as the show is taped for people to be able to listen for free.
