On June 12, Pierce The Veil returned to Texas for their I Can’t Hear You Tour, lighting up Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion with a memorable performance.
The openers, Beach Weather and Sleeping With Sirens, set the tone with energizing, electric sets.
Pierce The Veil began their set with a touching tribute to the band’s Mexican roots.

Vicente Fernandez’s “El Rey,” played, followed by a dramatic curtain drop and an explosive start to “Death of an Executioner” from their latest album “The Jaws of Life.”
The band performed a mix of new songs and fan favorites.
The set included songs such as “Bulls in the Bronx,” “Emergency Contact” and “I’m Low On Gas And You Need A Jacket.”
It also featured throwbacks from the album “Selfish Machines” such as “Bulletproof Love,” “Caraphernilia” and “Disasterology.”
Lead singer Vic Fuentes kept the energy high, engaging with the audience between songs and encouraging them to get louder.
The iconic stage energy from Bassist Jamie Preciado, flashing lights and lyric projections heightened the atmospheric energy.
A touching moment occurred during “Wonderless.”
The music paused as the stage bathed in blue light.
After, Fuentes led the crowd in singing the melody. A heartfelt connection was created at this moment.
A similar moment also occurred later in the show during “Hold on Till May,” one of their most meaningful songs. During it, Fuentes paused to thank fans for their individuality and inspiration. He also celebrated the creativity in the crowd, shouting out the DIY fashion and colorful hairstyles.

Fuentes continued to express his deep appreciation throughout the night, giving more heartfelt shoutouts to the audience as well as the opening acts and his bandmates.
Pierce The Veil closed with their most iconic hit, “King for a Day” ft. Sleeping With Sirens’ Kellin Quinn. This ended the show on a nostalgic, thrilling and crowd-buzzing note.
