Bring Me The Horizon made their return to Houston at the Toyota Center on Sept. 26 for their USA Ascension Program North America Tour (Part One of Two).
Before lead singer Oli Sykes and the band took the stage, fans got to enjoy three special guests. The guests set the tone for the evening.
Amira Elfeky got the night started, opening with “Will You Love Me When I’m Dead.”
She had a short set but it was filled with her iconic blend of nu-metal and alternative rock sounds. She would later go on to close her set with her viral TikTok hit “Tonight” that really showcased her haunting vocals and lyrical prowess.
Next came the Ohio metalcore band The Plot In You, launching straight into “Spare Me” from their 2024 Vol. 3 EP.
Their stage design featured two video boards on each side of the stage backlighting the guitarists with motion graphics and effects.
The crowd immediately started headbanging when the band started playing “Divide,” sending the fans into a frenzy of mosh pitting and crowd surfing.

They ended their set with “Feel Nothing,” loosening up the crowd for the upcoming heavyweights of the evening.
Motionless in White took the stage immediately, showcasing their fusion of horror-inspired theatrics and crushing riffs with their song “Meltdown” from their latest album “Scoring the End of the World.”
They later launched into their most-streamed song “Another Life.” With over 245 million streams, it had the crowd shouting along to every word with their anthemic hook.
Their closer, “Eternally Yours,” completed their set, leaving the crowd charged with anticipation for the final act.

Before Bring Me The Horizon took the stage, the massive screens lit up with the start-up logo and chime of PlayStation One, a nod to the band’s partnership with Sony Music.
From there, the videos played a series of Resident Evil-style gameplay sequences that set the tone for the theme of their latest album “POST HUMAN: NeX GEn.”
The night finally began when the band took the stage with an eruption of confetti that showered the fans. BMTH opened with “DArkSide,” as the confetti rained down, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
The energy only intensified as they jumped into “Happy Song” from their album “That’s the Spirit.”
Fans yelled along in unison to the infectious hook, while headbanging against the guard rails, as lead singer Oli Sykes moved around the stage. The momentum of the set continued to build as Sykes jumped into his iconic screams from “Shadow Moses,” unleashing a large pit of fans moshing into the center of the stadium.

In the middle of the set, Sykes invited a random fan from the crowd to join the band on stage. Together they ripped through “Antivist.” The fan’s performance earned her the No. 3 spot on the tour’s scoreboard of fan cameos.
Bring Me The Horizon closed their set with “Throne.”
The band unleashed red streamers and confetti that filled the arena, matching the song’s chorus.
BMTH delivered an experience that fused gaming nostalgia, incredible visuals and explosive energy into one package.
