Two clubs that truly feel like home are Digimarketers and UX Coogs, especially for students who spend a lot of time at UH Sugar Land.
Digimarketers helps students build real-world skills in digital marketing, branding, content creation and social media strategy.
Members gain hands-on experience through workshops, team projects and creative collaborations that prepare them for potential careers in advertising.
Along with professional development, the club creates a welcoming environment through events such as their recent Valentine’s craft-and-create, giving members a chance to connect while staying creatively engaged.

UX Coogs focuses on teaching students how to design digital experiences that are both functional and user-friendly.
Through design challenges, guest speakers and practical exercises, members learn about UX research, usability testing and interface design.
Some guest speakers come from major companies like Apple, Chevron and NASA, giving students insight into real industry experiences.
Both clubs balance skill-building with community. Members work on their portfolios, gain leadership experience and network with peers, all while forming meaningful friendships.
Soon, Digimarketers and UX Coogs will be hosting a joint picnic, showing how collaboration and connection are part of their shared culture.
For Digital Media students, these organizations are especially valuable, but students from all majors are welcome.
