The start of October brings cool mornings, hot afternoons, new tv shows and Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Since 2002, Zilker Park in Austin, Texas has hosted over 130 artists and 225,000 festival goers at ACL over two consecutive weekends in October. The festival grounds fill yearly with many musical guests, food and other entertainment options. This year, Cooglife will be covering Weekend Two of the festival.

Here is what you can expect from this weekend.

Artist Schedule

Dua Lipa, Tyler, the Creator, blink-182, Chris Stapelton, Chappell Roan and Reneé Rapp are among the big-name artists taking the stage for the festival’s second weekend.

On Friday, Norah Jones, Stapelton, Stephen Sanchez and Jezzy are a few of the acts to catch.

On Saturday, the platinum festival day of the year, festival goers can look forward to performances by Reene Rapp, Pretty Lights, Teddy Swims and Benson Boone. Dua Lipa also headlines on Saturday.

Closing out the 2024 festival on Sunday are Tyler, the Creator and Chapell Roan. Other Sunday, closing acts include David Shaw, The Red Clay Strays.

ACL Extras

While the festival is aptly named for the musical guests, there is so much to do on the grounds. “ACL Eats” and “ACL Sweets” offer the festivalgoers a variety of food items from local and chain vendors.

“ALC Eats” features a wide variety of cuisines from Asian to BBQ. They even cater to dietary restrictions and alternatives. These options include gluten free, vegan and vegetarian meals.

For anyone who wants a sweet-treat, “ACL Sweets” features ice creams, cookies, pies and more from a variety of vendors.

To make the festival a more accessible experience, “Austin Kiddie Limits” allows parents to leave their kids in the play area filled with kid friendly activities.

Folks 21 and over can visit Barton Beach Club Tiki Bar and Miller Lite Bar 75 to grab a drink and relax between sets.

Throughout the festival grounds, there are also photobooths and VIP lounges and experiences to look out for.

Thanks to American Express, ACL will remain cashless on festival grounds. Wristbands will be used for on-site purchases.

For the second year in a row, Hulu will live stream all the performances at no additional cost to all subscribers.
