Singer and songwriter Kelly Clarkson took the stage at RODEOHOUSTON® on Mar. 14, 2026, at NRG Stadium as part of the 2026 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo concert lineup.

Performing for a sold-out arena, Clarkson appeared on the legendary star stage rocking a black sparkly jumpsuit with shoulder pads.

Clarkson hasn’t performed at the Rodeo since her debut in 2004, shortly after winning American Idol.

She opened with “Favorite Kind of High,” and continued with “Behind These Hazel Eyes,” bringing nostalgia to the stadium.

Honoring a female Country singer who came before her, she sang “It’s a Little Too Late,” a cover by Tanya Tucker.

Clarkson is proud of her Texas roots and expresses it through her music. To show their support, over 70,000 people filled NRG Stadium singing “Miss Independent.”

A crowd favorite was “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).” Clarkson engaged with the crowd by turning the mic to hear the whole stadium sing.

The audience’s excitement continued to build as she bounced around the stage. She concluded her performance with “Since U Been Gone,” which was a memorable and energetic close.
